Sion excels in shooting Commercials, Drama, Music Video and Documentary, whether color, black & white, film or digital. His passion is to tell a story with captivating, visually compelling imagery, whether it be in 30 seconds or 120 minutes.
‘As a cinematographer, I always look for the atmosphere, the action, the actors’ movement or the expression on a character’s face - the heart of the scene. The best assets I bring with me are my keen observation, intuition, and rock solid constitution. I’m a passionate filmmaker, and it’s my highest interest to internalize the director’s vision and to translate it into compelling imagery, no matter what the format or duration.’

Accredited Cinematographer from the Australian Cinematographers Society.
Masters Degree in Cinematography from the National Film School Sydney Australia.
Expert Deep knowledge of film lighting, camera operating including remote head systems, gear head, handheld and all manner of operating a motion picture camera.
Expert Experiental knowledge of 35mm, HD including Alexa and RED.
